Robin M. Hogarth is the ICREA Research Professor at Universitat Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, Spain. He was formerly the Wallace W. Booth Professor of Behavioral Science at the University of Chicago's Graduate School of Business and also deputy dean for full-time MBA programs from 1993 to 1998. He was a member of the Chicago faculty from 1979 to 2001. Professor Hogarth previously held appointments at the London Business School and INSEAD in Fontainebleau, France.

Dr. Hogarth's research centers principally on the psychology of judgment and decision making. He consulted with many leading corporations including: Shell, UOP, Exxon, ACL, AGA, the Inter-Public Group, and General Electric. Dr. Hogarth has published seven books as well as many articles in leading professional journals.

Professor Hogarth has an international reputation in management education and served as a consultant to several educational institutions on different continents.
